Considering Stopping Hair Loss Solutions

Updated on 26/10/2009

Hello! Welcome back did you enjoy this post? Did you hate it? Unless you tell us we won't know, so go ahead and make a comment on this post and we promise to stop nagging!

A huge demand for a stopping hair loss solution is reflected in the most amounts of money spent in research and development by the various companies, as well as the amount of money consumers spend on seeking that magical formula.

One has to understand that a variety of conditions or factors contribute to the loss of hair, which can vary from genetics or hereditary traits, passed down from our parents, to that of the intake of medication, stress or even a possible current medical condition. The various shampoos or the products that we use today can also contribute to such hair loss.

In addition to the multitude of products that are available on the marketplace, there are a number of tips and hints that one can consider in attempting stopping hair loss, or at the very least reducing such loss as much as possible. From hair regrowth pills, and formulas, both chemical and natural to special diets that one can use in their efforts of stopping hair loss or at least encouraging healthy hair growth.

One of the first points that has to be made is that some of the products, or a specific product may work for someone, but may not work for someone else; this may be due to the underlying hair loss reason or condition, as well as each individual’s unique makeup. This does not mean that because a specific product did not work for you, it is useless, but rather it is not suitable for you and you should look for a possible alternative.

One of the very popular natural alternatives, that is frequently used today is that of saw palmetto, which is natural herb. Medical researches have revealed that the saw palmetto herb’s properties have an interference effect in the production of testosterone, thereby reducing hair loss. This is relevant as it has been established that the production of testosterone contributes to the loss of hair, and in some cases up to 95 percent of hair loss is contributed by such testosterone as well as chemical processes related to it.

Saw palmetto it’s relatively inexpensive, and a natural alternative, which in our day and time makes it immensely popular for use. Additional uses of this herb include the intake thereof for prostate health by men, and have been used for centuries. Certain side effects are known to exist such as vomiting, nausea and abdominal pains, therefore one is advised to use the herb sparingly, and with care.

Your diet can also play a large role in stopping hair loss, or at least encouraging hair growth. In certain foods such as fish liver oil, whole grains, bananas, liver, red meat, nuts, and dark green vegetables to name but a few. You should do a little research as to improving your diet, in-line with your efforts in stopping hair loss and encouraging hair growth.
